1. Download the current version

To install the webhosting component you first have to download the current version. You can get it from Joomlaos or download it directly from this page. Keep attention that you have the latest version. Not on every page, where you could download the components of the current version actually are available. The best opportunity to check it is to compare the versionnumber you got with the versionnumber of this homepage.

2. Installation through the Backend

Now the component of the Joomla-Backends can be installed over the component-installer. Therefore go to the Backend to Installer / Components. On the coming out site you click at the searching button and pick the Installationfile. After a click at "Upload File & Install" the component will start the installation. If the installation was successful than there will pop up a short description of the component and a     "Continue"-button. Should the installation show some errors so please report them in the appropriate forum.  

To perform an upgrade of the webhosting component you have to uninstall the old version first. All data like plans, features and feature categories will be kept. But the configuration settings will not. So best you write them down before or keep them in mind.

After you have uninstalled the old version you can install the new one by simply using the component installer. If there where some changes in the database structur these will be made automatically.
